hints & variationsWe used Young's Double Chocolate Stout for this recipe and the brownies were delicious, however you could use Guinness or, as Paul recommends, Coopers Best Extra Stout, Moo Brew Imperial Stout, Arctic Fox Chocolate Stout. Paul suggests these brownies could be good with a pinch of chilli, let us know if you are game to try it.
We found that the brownies needed a further 5-10 minutes cooking time as they were still quite wet after 15 minutes. serving ideaDare we say it, eat these brownies while drinking the remaining stout, Sláinte.
